TIME - Any time you can spare would be so appreciated! There is always a need for someone to help...clean kennels, change bedding, walk the dogs, help with medical care or spend just a few minutes to provide some TLC.
DONATIONS - We can use old blankets, towels, rugs, carpet pieces, bleach, pinesol cleaner, paper towels, dog food, treats, toys, collars in all sizes, dog houses, dog crates...whatever you have or maybe find on sale cheap somewhere. And of course monetary donations are always needed to buy the essentials...and to purchase vet care as well. Drop off locations...
A few local businesses have offered to take donations for us. The Monitor in McCrory and Burrow's building supply or Farm Bureau in Augusta will make drop offs more convenient.
FOSTER HOMES - If you have an extra dog pen, you could be a foster parent. The younger more adoptable dogs need a short stay in a home where they can get some socialization. The dogs with health issues need a more comfortable environment to begin the road to recovery and a chance for a forever home. We will work with you depending on the needs of the fostered dog and your of course your needs as well. Animal Rescue Friends will pay for food and meds.
WORD OF MOUTH - Get the word out that we are in need...check with your friends and family members for anything they may have to donate and tell your vet about our efforts...they may be able to help with free or discounted vet care.
